Today I turn the ripe old age of 27! I know, it's now a downward slope to the big 30 but over the past 27 years I have to learnt a few things, some silly and some a little deeper.
I want to share 27 of them with you:
- Never Grow Up... just because you are getting older doesn't mean you have to turn into a serious grumpy adult, keep that inner child alive and have FUN!
- Eating chocolate for breakfast won't kill you... I do it more times than I care to admit
- Hard work pays off... TRUST ME
- Friends are the family you chose
- Heels make you feel powerful... try it, throw on your favourite pair of heels and walk down the street, you will see what I mean
- You don't have to have all the answers all the time. Going with the flow every now and again can take you to some amazing places
- Lipstick is AMAZING!
- Put yourself first just once in a while! You are important too
- Dance like know ones watching... just be free
- DISNEY is my happy place!
- Fashion is a complicated science
- Slices of apple dipped in melted Cadbury chocolate is the best... also it's one of your 5 a day!
- Buying your first house is the most stressful process EVER, but also the BEST thing you will ever do
- You will do anything to avoid hair washing night
- Primark do the best Disney merchandise
- Snuggling my childhood teddy bear (Big Ted) always makes me feel better
- DREAM BIG... simple but the only thing holding you back is your own imagination
- To go along with number 17... YOU CAN DO IT! If you don't try you will never know what could have been
- Failing isn't failing, it's discovering what not to do the next time you try
- You don't have to be drunk to have a good time!
- Capture every moment... whether it's a photograph or video
- Computer games are not just for boys! Who else loves the new remastered Crash Bandicoot?
- Live for today, not tomorrows 'What ifs'
- Taking the time to tell someone you're proud of them can make a huge difference to their day
- I love Crossfit!
- Home Alone is the best christmas movie.
- Writing 27 things I've learnt is harder than you think.
What have you learnt over your years?
